reader, anonymous, writes (23 September 2009): People start kissing at different ages - i got my first kiss when i was 8 years old yet my best friend got her first kiss when she was 23 years old. Try not to worry too much, 13 is not over the hill by anyone's measure :) As for the kissing technique - I'd start slow, lips touching lips with no deep snogging action just yet, unless of course you want to. :)

reader, anonymous, writes (22 September 2009): you need to relax and stop worrying about how to kiss. when you are ready to kiss, it will come naturally. don't force it- you want your first kiss to be memorable. i'm 20 and i just had my first kiss 2 months ago.i also worried about how to kiss. i told the guy i was dating as we were honest about everything. he told me not to worry- that it would come naturally and he was right.

I got my first kiss when I was your age and to be honest, I don't remember what I was thinking really . . .What I do know is that my bf and I had that really cute little moment where you're just looking in each other's eyes and everything is perfect.You've got to pick the right moment for it; don't kiss by rubbish bins or at lunch, otherwise your first kiss will be...blech.Just go with the flow. Don't worry about opening your mouth too wide at your age, your bf probably won't expect it and it's for when you get experienced, really. But if he tries to open your mouth with his lips and you don't mind, just pretend you're about to put a lolly in your mouth, it should be the right width. (unless you open your mouth like you're yawning when you do that)Tongue . . . you should maybe leave that alone for now seeing as this would be your first kiss; don't do that until you really know your bf and you're a bit older. You're only 13! Relax. First of all, don't let this boyfriend pressurize you! Secondly, nobody in earth knows how to kiss unitl they've practised. So instead of worrying, relax and just kiss him. You'll get better.
