I am 13 and I don't think that anyone has ever liked me for me. I think that I am nice, non-judjmental and optimistic. If a friend is down I always help them out. I feel that there is a problem. I am overweight and in my opinion pretty but not very pretty at the same time. I feel that no-one likes me because I am overweight. I have always liked people but have been to shy to tell them. I talk to them like they are just normal friends and am afraid of things that could happen. Lots of boys tend to flirt with me but it just happens to be people who are players. Please help me!

never been a crush

I am overweight also, but that dosen't mean I am not beautiful in my own way. I now have a boyfriend and have been with him a while now. It dosne't matter what you look like, someone will always care. Your beautiful in your own way.

hello,

it sounds like you are going through what nearly all teenaged girls do. you want to be liked of course, and you want guys to like you. talking to guys like they are "just normal friends" isn't necessarily a bad thing! lots of romantic relationships come out of friendships. you sound like a pretty cool girl, so just let your personality do all the talking for you.

about being overweight: i know that sometimes you might want to be thinner because you think that's what guys like. well, there are plenty of guys who really like bigger girls. to be healthy though, maybe you could try joining a team or playing a sport or going to the gym...even walking around the block for some exercise. getting out like that and playing team sports is a great way to meet people..especially guys who you might be interested in.

remember: guys like, and are attracted to comfident women...so get involved in something that makes you feel good and better about yourself and i'm sure lots of people will be attracted to that.

Okay, listen to me in life there are two main important things when growing up you are purposed to enjoy it! and make the most of the time you have as a young student at school, by this i mean keep your friends close to you the ones that give you something back in return.Look out for you, if someone is distracting you it is up to you to stop hanging around with them because it could effect your future. And secondly You are You and no one will change that and as long as you believe this then people will start to respect you more, dont be in everyones faces with your bubbley personality be the person that you started out to be in primary school the person that didnt care out other peoples worthless opinions and left the by-gons behind, you usually find that EVERYONE seams to change in Secondary school but be different be unique and be YOU, REMEMBER ~ Everyone likes a nice person. Good Luck Aunty S
