writes:IM 13 years old. And i have issues with the way i look! I play softball for three different teams, YET im tipping scales at 215... and im only 5 7 so its like not porportioned and my boobs are huge and its annoying and i dress nicely so i can hide it sorta.. so tha tmaybe peopel will see i try to look good and then sometime i forget the way i look and im having ag reat time talking to guys or watever and then i see myself in a mirror and i close up and get all shy.. i dont really want to change myself but would it be best? becuase most guys dont find them selves attracted to people like me.. is that true?

reader, anonymous, writes (11 January 2008): I'm going to let you in on a little secret, there's a ton of guys out there, and they have a ton of different preferences, and on the average, GUYS are NOT terribly bothered by the flaws that you think you have. I have to say, for me, it's very, very rare the girl that I look at that I don't find attractive in some way or another, if one guy doesn't find you attractive, trust me, another will, and yet, the same applies if you were to get some sort of change, all that will do, is make another set of guys like you more, and another like you less. My final reccomendation, is not to worry about how you look, trust me, a large portion of the males out there your age would be happy to have you as a girlfriend.

 As far as guys being attracted, it depends on the guy. Not all guys are attracted to the skinny women. Many guys go for girls who are bigger. If your not interested in changing yourself then don't. Be happy with who you are, even seeing yourself up close in a mirror. One thing a majority of guys are attracted to are women who have a strong sense of self.
