his family never have a nice work to say about me.

they are always slagging me off within my earshot.

its putting an awful lot of strain on mine and my boyfriends relationship.

and my family found out about my boyfriends' sisters slagging me off and now in a way both families are kind of at war.

always bitching about the other.

can anyone help?

You need to rise above this. Try and not to listen to either side of the family war, and never take side, dont start slagging his family off to yours etc. Because lets face it, blood is thicker than water when it comes to famililes. Tell your bloke that these things they are saying are hurtful and nasty and you want them to stop. Dont carry tales back to your family and hopefully in time they will all get bored with it. But dont let this get between you and your bloke.
