I'm pretty sure if it was child porn, it would be the police you were talking to instead of posting here.
As far as mens private parts, this is really something you should be asking him. Some guys have a bi curious nature, but again, each to his own I suppose.
Have you noticed the date these pictures were saved or if they are received files?
I think you should just ask him about them and see what he says. We can only really elaborate without knowing more details.

 You should confront him on this and see what he has to say, otherwise just tell him your leaving him. I'm questioning what you mean by illegal. Do you mean child pornography or things that look illegal? It may have been from his past and he just didn't delete it even though he is past that. With the illegal part aside there is nothing wrong if he went through a little bit of a curiousity phase having to do with men, but definitely talk to him about this so that he can delete it himself and show that he wants to be with you.
