I love her to the ends of time i would go through hell and stay there for 1 million years just to see her smile. Sounds nice right but guess what she has a boyfreind lets call him "James" and her "Zoe" but anyway he is a jerk a class A dick he has cheezy smile he makes stupid jokes acts like a ponce he is cheap and stupid. So it came into to common knowledge i like her (im at school in sixth form) though she was unsure about the whole thing. So one day i'm leaning against the school fence and recently ive been saying see ya etc. to James as he leaves in an attempt to maybe be freinds but mainlybeacuse i get a perfect view of zoe getting on her bus home but anyway he waltz up and rather then walk past he stops and talks to me he told me to lay off and acted like a jerk shouting that shes his property and that im a fool to think she'd ever love me saying nothing can stop him and her.We are very good freinds and ive helped her with a number of problems but that was two years ago (see its not any old crush) but recently i actually told her i love her in person this time seen as i had done before a year ago via msn but she'd forgotten about it and afterwards recently i've been texting her poems i come up with on the spot (much better then his btw) and the other day she tells me something that made my heart stop she loves me apparently she loved me before james and always found me interesting and she wants to talk over the holidays alone about this and im not sure what to do she says they are sole mates and that she loves him more then me.She cant see him for what he really is ive tried to stop loving her but it impossible and im depressed beacuse im an outcast and i beleive what james said im nothing how could she love me more then him? i dont know so basically my question is could somebody please shed some light on this, tell me what to do should i meet her? to start with should i try and get her to dump this king of dickheads? and go with me? im really confused could anyone help me please?

 Look you can't change the way she feels about this guy. You might think hes a jerk but in her eyes he might be caring and everything and to be honest i wouldnt be telling her you love her and stuff and making up poems while she has a boyfriend she is happy with. it is dis respectful towards their relationship! and then she will probably tell James and then this whole situation will blow out of proportion and turn violent.put yourself in james's shoes... if you were happy with a girlfriend you loved and you had another guy(s) on the sideline saying stuff like that to her how would you feel?the best thing to do is just move on.

You won't understand it. The girls usually won't admit it. But it's true.
The girl has a more difficult time getting and keeping this jerk's attention than yours. Therefore she likes him better because he's more of a challenge.
You won't get her by being a jerk now. You probably won't get her at all. But the only thing that even MIGHT work is for you to stop worshipping her and move on with your life. GET ANOTHER GIRL because it makes you look desirable in the eyes of girls.
