Im just wondring if you couldfigureout a reason for this.This guy is a good friend of mine, ok hesone of my best friends, ive never told him that though but before when things have got awkard through people saying things about us being friends hes always saidim a good friend to him.However much i think about that though i cant help but think why?Why is it that if we do meet up or we do talk im the one the say hi first, dont get wrong wrong he'll talk back but if the conversation goes dead then he wont say anything i have to do it. Also im not the only person he does it with but its always bugged me abit but if you say hi to him and hes not there at the time(and so his status changes to away after a certain amount of time) when he comes back he wont actually say hi once its been a while. He does that with alot of people.Thing is i met up with him afew days ago(i was abit unsure becasue of how he sometimes acts whether he would meet me alone but he did, although he did ask one other prson but they couldnt come but he was up for it) we started talking just normally(this is another thing to anyone else he'll ramble on about anything)and we were just talking but then it went quiet and we both didnt know what to say. See theres times when we meet up like the other month we were waiting for two of my mates to turn up and he was just talking about anything, however if i start talking sometimes he just says yea or something depends what its about. Anyway yea the day we met up we left after afew hours we parted we hugged and he said take care yea. We spoke on msn afew days later and he wasnt to talkative but after a while he was and then he was about to go and said bye then he said oh yea im tryin to think when im next avaliable at the weekend because i'd alreafy said to him well have to sort a night out with these other mates sometime. So it cant be that he dont wanna see me. Thing is i got home and say his facebook status, it was the wordsof a love song that basically meant shyness to do something, i wont say what it is but its when you say you wanna do something but arent sure how to go about it. probably about a girl hes met i dont know.But since then i feel tats hes ingoring me slightly just when i say hey im sure hes there but i get no reply unsure why but im still unsure as to why we sometimes struggle to talk to each other when we have stuff in common we both know it and yet he can talk with people who are totally different without any trouble. I jsut feel im treated differently sometimes

 I think when it ends up being awkward, he has a lot of things going through his mind. i think most the time he is confused about his life, and with some stuff he might decide to not tell you , as even thought your close, he might just be one of those people who keep a lot of things locked up. Maybe he has had a time where he liked you mroe than a friend, and he's still confused about it now. just keep up the talking and going out, and just see where it goes from there. good luck
