If they're bigger are they more sensitive?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello, I have a quick question.

You know the inner lips of a woman-- the labia minora?

You know how some women have longer ones and stuff?

I wanted to know, does that increase feeling in them? Like would they be more sensitive than a person with a smaller labia minora?

I have a small one for now, but I was just curious.

A female reader, YouWish United States +, writes (9 May 2012):

YouWish agony auntPerson is absolutely right. The source of your nerve endings branch out into the labia, but have nothing to do with the labia itself.

The nerves focus on your clitoris and branch out into and inside the labia. The closer to the clitoris you are, the more concentrated the nerves. These nerves don't originate in the vagina or labia themselves.
