If my BF has stopped telling me he loves me, is that a bad sign?

Question - (1 August 2006) 2 Answers - (Newest, 2 August 2006)
A female United Kingdom, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend used to always say he loved me and just compliment me all the time.... however recently he has been less affectionate ... and I get the feeling it's because he is either angry with me or is going off me ....

I am confused. It might not be anything but I like it when he tells me he loves me. What should I be thinking ?

I agree a talk would be a start to help clear your mind. Also has he had a lot on his mind lately such as stress at work or anything like that which has been bothering him?Have you given him any reason for him to be angry with you?Have you told him that you love him lately and what was his responce.

eyeswideopen agony auntHow do you respond when he tells you he loves you? Do you say right back? When he gives you a compliment you you show your appreciation? If he isn't getting any response to his shows of affection then maybe he thinks they're not worth it. If you do respond then you may be right thinking he's having second thoughts about your relationship. Time for a long chat.
