writes:me and my ex are good friends he likes to joke around with me saying he wants to touch me. We made a bet he said his prize was to have a lil feel of me i said ok but he didn't want to do it at first. i thought he weren't attracted to me. After he told me he just felt bad because it's me, he would never want to take advantage of me which made me happy. He confuses me. 1 min he likes me as a friend then its more then back ago he admitted to me thats why he doesn't want to get back together with me, he doesn't wanna break my heart. I was thinking if we did go out again do you think it would work we've managed to stay very close friends. Thanks for all the help x.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 April 2009): ok babe , you know what, maybe this boy will just be better as a friend than as a boyfriend. the fact that hes telling you he doesnt want to break your heart shows that he respects you. he probably doesnt think that it would work out between you two if you gave it another chance and he doesnt want to risk losing you. you have managed to stay close friends and thats really good. its rare for that to happen these days. it may not be worth the risk of getting back together. what if it were to end bad and you two fell out? is it worth the risk of losing a really close friend. despite any advice that you get from this site, the final decision is down to you. its your heart and only you know how you truly feel about him. do you really like him or do you just respect him as a friend with a little harmless flirting. i dont think theres any wrong choice here, just do whatever feels right. i hope it works out for you. gd luc.xx
