writes:alright, so me and my girlfriend are really looking forward to getting married, because we both believe in abstinance before marriage, and no, sex is not the reason why we're getting married, but she and I are extremely comfortable with each other already, and I asked her to grow out her hair above her vagina and to shave it ever now and then, and I like the idea of shaving my groin every now and then for her, which she asked me to do, but, as I was shaving my testicals, I accitently cut my sack a little, I'm kinda worried if I cut one of my testicles and if I did, wouldn't I know it?? what could happen?? a doctor's opinion would be very much appreciated

I was trying to trim my hair near the private area a few weeks ago, which i am not used to doing, and accidently pinched my nutsack with the scissors since the hairs were so small. For about that 10-12 seconds it pained but there was no outside cut or bleeding. I just want to know if everything is okay, as im worried a little, since i get like a pinching feeling here and there in that area but not a severe pain. I just hope i didnt cut or damage my testicles?

reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2011): Hi, i am not a doctor yet (but going to be one in 2years). .In my opinion you have not cut your testicle.Testicle has several layers of covering around it even after your skin,that i belief can not be breached by shaving-cut. . . Again if you have breached that much there should have been much pain and severe bleeding that you can't stop easily. . . So don't worry. . .

 Not a doc but I can add that shaving youur groin is not something people do nomally so try to avoid that in the futureOR get an electric razor. Sharp objects and scrums don't get along well.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2011): Im not a doctor but Im am 5 months away from being qualified as a veterinarian... but I can tell you that there are a huge number of nerve endings in the testicle, and you would definitely know if you had cut into your testicle! It would be extremely painful and would have bled a lot. Also, testicles, like any other body part heal and it would be unlikely to have any major long lasting effect even if you did. It sounds like you just nicked your scrotum a bit!

reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2011): Never share razors with anyone and always use safety razors. If it was your personal razor and it was only a little skin nick, you will be fine. Cutting into a testicle enough to do any harm to it would require some effort. Its not easily done. If you feel the cut in question is not healing well, its red, sore, tender or the area is swollen or theres any leakage from the wound, then consult your doctor.
Also as a general guide. When anyone has a cut in that area it is leaving the skin open to infection, so its a good idea to wait until the cut has healed before sexual activity.

OMG. Yes. My bf did this with trimmers. He was trimming the hair on his balls some how some skin got in the wrong place and it cut him. He screamed and it bled bad. The skin on the balls are thin and sensitive. So yeah if you cut it youre gonna feel it.
