Loss of seminal fluid after intercourse is perfectly normal, and most women notice some discharge immediately after sex. Many infertile couples imagine that this is the cause of their problem. If your husband ejaculates inside you, then you can be sure that no matter how much semen leaks out afterwards, enough sperm will reach the cervical mucus. This leakage of semen ( which is called effluvium seminis) is not a cause of infertility. In fact, this leakage is a good sign - it means your husband is depositing his semen normally in your vagina ! Of course, you cannot see what goes in - you can only see what leaks out - but the fact that some is leaking out means enough is going in !

So the answer to your question would be, yes - your chances are reduced. How significantly reduced is left to debate.
And like everyone said, you can do things like lie still for a few minutes after he's finished. Try raising your hips on a pillow after he's finished. Also, NOT having sex with you on top can help - since if you're on top, gravity will just drip the semen right out. Another thing is to have him remain in your vagina after ejaculating. This gives you both time to bask in the afterglow of sex - kissing and stroking each other while still panting from that good workout he just gave you :) With his penis still in your vagina, it acts as sort of a 'plug' to keep the semen inside you. He will eventually go limp and probably slip out as the vagina will be slick with his semen and your lubrication - but any little bit helps, right?
All that being said. Even if you continue to have the semen leak from your vagina, you CAN still get pregnant.
Hope this helps.

Dont worry! As soon as he ejaculates, the sperm all start to swim up to find your egg. The liqyid that comes out is the seman which the sperm travelles into in. He will ejaculate millions of sperm every time and only 1 is needed for conception. This happens to every single person in the world and millions of women get pregnant every day. It will happen for you too! Lifting you hips up after sex can help the sperm to travel to your cervix.Good luck!

If you're trying to get pregnant I would lay in bed for about 15-20 minutes after doing the deed. Of course the more sperm you have in your body, the better your chances. If it comes out though, you still have a big chance of conceiving. Good luck to you!
