writes: On a cruise there was a very young entertainer half my age -we e mailed occasionally and now he is off the ship and in the city and I said I would be in the city for a day so we arranged to meet up in the afternoon for lunch and catch up with news.After 3 hours the shop closed so we all had to go and we went back to his bus stop and he said when would I be coming up again but he would be busy for two or three weeks-he brought a shoulder bag with him now I am not sure whether he intended going somewhere for the night and expected me to invite him back which I didnt-or whether he is interested in me or is he just being friendly-should I have instigated "coming back" but I thought as it was an afternoon meeting he probably didnt think that and would have arranged an evening meeting???I do like him and I saw him looking at me once or twiceremembering I didnt want to make a fool of myself as he is so much younger not sure what to do should I have suggested something or might he have ran a mile which I did not want my friend says the fact he asked if i was coming back he is interested and I did the right thing by holding back as it may have annoyed him and he would have suggested an evening meeting had that been the caseHelp I would love to "see" him again what do I say or do?Thanks Reply to this Question Share |

Well you emailed him once and that worked, so try it again. But trust me he was probably hoping you'd invite him up to your apartment. I'm not saying you should have. A little mystery is good. Plus you need to go slow until you know him better. You never know what his agenda really was. Just because he seemed smitten with you doesn''t always mean he was. If he's from another country he might be looking for a way to gain citizenship.
