Toria agony auntHave you seen a picture of him to know for sure that you don't know him?

I would be very careful this is the internet after all he may well be a friend messing around for a laugh but he could also seen the town you live in and a picture of you and went to where you would be and thats scary.

The more interest you show him in wanting to know hows and whys the more he knows he got to you and your intriged I would block him and not open anymore emails or anything.

Good luck :o)

stina agony auntOh, I just realized that 'singles who click' is a web dating site. Well, I would still ask your friends if they recognize him. If they don't, then I wouldn't talk to this guy unless you're really cautious and don't really talk about personal stuff at all. He might be a weirdo. Next time if you're out and you see him, then that's a different story. (But I would still be weary...)

The reason I think it's creepy (and why I seem overly cautious) is because you don't recognize him and because his message kinda came out of the blue. Plus the same kind of thing happened to me and it ended up being a 51 year old perv and another guy (pretending to be one person) who eventually found out where I lived and threatened to hurt my family if I didn't leave the country to visit "him." Short version of the story is that I called the police and they helped me. Don't let that happen to you!

stina agony aunthello anon,

maybe one of your friends would recognize him. but if they don't, then i'd ignore him. if you see him in person sometime later, then maybe you two can talk. but yeah, in my opinion it does sounds a bit creepy.

if you do end up talking with him online, at least ask him how he got your email address and then verify it with that person. if it's someone that you don't know, i would stop talking to this guy. if it is someone you know who gave him your email, i would ask why that person didn't tell you he/she gave away your email addy. that's not cool.

take care.
