Even the way I speak they have a problem with it. They are so miserable and treats me with no regard or respect. I worked on my own for a few hours on Wednesday and 2 other staff came on in the afternoon. I asked them to check the money. They told me not to worry they will do it with the other staff in the morning. Friday they rang to tell me £9.04 of clients money is missing and because I was the last person to go in the tin I would have to put the money back. I've never felt so humiliated and treated so badly in all my life. I've worked in several care homes and never been called a thief. I'm so angry. Ive put the money back but I want to quit I'm not going back to that place ever again. I want to write an email to the manager to tell her how I feel. Could you help me please? I hope leaving won't make it look like I stole the money cause I know in my heart I'm not a thief. My boyfriend told me to quit long time ago cause of the way those women treats me there but I didn't listen. Cause they don't really care about the clients and I wanted to stay cause I was the only that cared about them.

Yeah you do need to flag this to management so that they don't treat the next person the same. Nobody should be treated like that at work, and nobody is going to think you left your job because you stole nine pound and then replaced it. Ask for a meeting with management and tell them how you feel. If you want to quit I don't blame you but if you want to stand your ground then write a formal complaint in about these women who are bullying you.

You may have a case for discrimination or constructive dismissal ie when you are made to feel you have no alternative but to quit due to unreasonable or malicious behaviour by employers against you.
