Sounds like whisker burn. I used to get it all the time. I talked my then-boyfriend (now spouse) into growing a beard. Woo hoo!

Hi Anon,
Maybe he was using some kind of body spray - like axe. Maybe you re allergic to it. Does he have any facial hair? Stubble, in my opinion, is worse than full on facial hair and can cause me to have a rash since I have really sensitive skin. Maybe he uses a laundry detergent that you are allergic to?
If the rash goes away, then it probably has something to do with what I've mentioned. If it stays, you might want to take a visit to the doctor.
Maybe someone else has any ideas?
Take care.

It could be two things that I can think of. The first is if he had some stubble it could have irritated your face when you kissed. I used to go out with a really stubbly guy and my face would be bright red after seeing him. The other thing is you could be allergic to something he was wearing. I'm with you thinking it's unlikely to be the plastic mac but what about his aftershave? or maybe he was wearing wool underneath or something? It's not really something to worry about eitherway. If it's the stubble thing your skin will get more resistant to it as you get used to kissing him and if it's the aftershave all he needs to do is stop wearing it when he sees you but if the only reaction you're getting is a rash it's not life threatening to try not to worry! Hope this helps.
