reader, anonymous, writes (26 December 2011): Yes it can stop it working. You should always read the instructions with your pill every time you get a pack. Generally the rule is if you are sick, take another pill (the last one in your pack) as soon as you have stopped being sick. If you have more than 14 tablets left then don't worry about using the last one, you will then start your 7 day break a day earlier than usual and start your new pack a day earlier than you are used to. If you have less than 14 tablets left you must not take a 7 day break but when you take your last pill you start your new pack the next day.You should book an appointment with your doctor, you could be at risk of being/falling pregnant. Perhaps you could discuss other methods of contraception, the injection is good because you are always protected and sickness doesn't affect it or other medicines. Hope all is well for you, please pop down to your doctors and just talk to them about what happened x
