I thought he was liking me too because he kissed and held me etc. Then a week later he turned around and said he "didn't like me like that" and that he just came over to "see if there was anything there". He said something like there wasn't any chemistry, conversations never went anywhere. I might add I am really shy, so that might be why. He said he wants to be friends. Should I settle for that or just move on? Or is there any chance he will change his mind? I am confused too, if there wasn't any chemistry wouldn't he have been turned off kissing and holding me? He seemed like he liked it.

He is a bit of a rat and my instinct is to tell you to keep away from him, but maybe just be friends with him and keep it at that.
I would not consider him as a boyfriend as he is shallow and over confident and would I feel use you.
Enter into a friendship if that is what you want with your gaurd up and only take it down if you feel you can trust him not to play around with your emotions as he did when he kissed you.
