writes:Today me and my boyfriend split up. We had been together for 6 months. I have been thinking of ending it for a while as I have been really unhappy as he never tries to contact me and never went out of his way and never wanted to be together and only wanted to be together to be intimate (which I have only just realised what a pig :| )well today i was going to end it and then when he came suddenly he started saying loads of crap saying how i am insecure, and he could do way better i have no personality and my friends are only friends with me cos of him and my real friends that he doesn't really no are fake and not really my best friends :@then i sed look its over and tried to say my side of the story and he said look i can't be arsed and ran off. leaving me crying :/the thing is this guy is very popular and everyone thinks he is bloody god's gift cos he sucks up to all teachers and people. and i am supposed to start the same college with him in september. all of the people i thought were my friends but have actually talked about me behind my back are the only people at college that are in my classes, (its only very small) and i don't know how they are all going to take it i have a feeling they are going to turn against me or ignore me or something and then i will be all alone for 2 years. my best friends are all going to seperate colleges dotted all around the area and i really want to go to the same one as my ex but we ended so badly i don't no whether i can actually look him in the face again :|i don't know what to do, i wanted to end it and now it has happened i can't stop crying and i dont understand why as he has treated me like crap :| please help me in a bad place at the moment :'(

 He may have sensed you were about to dump him so got in there first. Sorry to say but at that age its a game to some guys. Its not until we get older and realise its time to settle down when we show our true feelings and stop acting like jerks.
I strtess that not all guys are like this its a small number but they exist.
Find yourself someone who appreciates you more.
