Just going by your posted age, and your saying you've been together for a year, I'd have to think you've already done some stuff. And maybe everything but sex. To give you a sensible answer, I really have to know that. It's one thing if you've stayed at the kissing stage. It's quite a different thing if you've done "everything but ...".

just ask her how she feels about taking the relationship to the next level and ask her if she would like to make love and explore eachother in a new light. as long as you dont force her or try to manipulate her she should be ok, and talk about w/you. just dont make her feel cornered.
