reader, anonymous, writes (31 March 2013): You described a one night stand. It ended without exchanging any means of contact. If you met him once, you'll likely run into him again.
Don't be surprised if his reaction to the re-acquaintance isn't what you'll hope it to be. It usually isn't. In this case, you didn't talk, and you claimed it was an awkward separation. You got a hint and didn't take it?
Sometimes guys say they want to meet again, and don't really mean it. They feel obligated, so you won't feel used.
If he did, why didn't he get your digits? It was a nicer way of saying: "See you around!"
Next time, find out something about the guy before you get
intoxicated and jump into bed with him.
