The nicest thing a bloke ever did for me was bring me freshly cooked chicken skin into work! It sounds horrific but it's my absolute favorite thing to eat and he knew that!!! You must know what she likes don't think you have to buy expensive gifts and cliches just do nice things for her show her you love her!!!

(Hmm, well that english site I recommended is apparently for businesses, so you could just visit the main site to see what they have or just google it to find online vendors. It's not like you have to buy San-X, though. You know your girlfriend best - buy her what you think she'd like! ^_^)

Hi Anonymous,
I think that first you two need to discuss your relationship and what's going on if you haven't done that already. Let her know how you feel, where you want the relationship to go, how you want to make things between you both stronger and be sure to include her in all of this, too. Afterall, it would only make sense to hear her side of things, too, right?
If you have already done that, then I would suggest writing a love letter. Tell her what you like/love about her and why. Does she have any cute quirks? Does she make any cute faces? What does she do that makes you feel so happy? What kind of boyfriend to do want to be? How much do you care for her? Just try to write all of the emotions out. Then, I would include a picture of the both of you in a nice frame. It doesn't have to be a store-bought frame, it could even be something that you made yourself. It could be made up of movie ticket stubs, dried flowers, etc. I would give all of this to her in a nice little gift box. It doesn't have to be fancy, because what really matters is all of the emotions and feelings on the inside.
If you want to take the less romantic approach, if that's where the level of your relationship is - or in addition to the previous suggestion - then you could buy a cute stuffed animal for her. The "trick" with that is that whenever she sees it, she'll think of you and how sweet you are. I recommend anything by a company called San-X. It's a japanese company and they make the cutest stuffed animals, in my opinion. There is a lot of stuff for sale on Ebay, but sometimes there are speciality boutiques that you can visit in person. I don't know where you live, but you could check around to see where they may have a store around your area. (Sometimes they have little areas in Asian grocery stores - at least they do where I stop, Han Ah Reum - aka H Mart.)
Here is the official English San-X page: http://www.san-x.co.jp/english/
Ebay items: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=san-x&category0=
Hope this helps! ^_^
Take care.

What you need to do to make things better would depend on the reason you were rocky in the first place. I would always advise doing something completely unpredictable - that means no chocolates and flowers... that gets annoying after a while.
A meal could be nice or take her somewhere she has always wanted to go. A weekend away or a night out to the cinema. Theres plenty options for putting a smile on her face, just make sure the underlying issues are dealt with too.

thats proper nice fo you to want too.
i wish my boyfriend would do that for me when we're rocky lol.
wel think about things she likes. has she ever said "i wish one day that..." ?
try and see if you can make any of her like wishes/dreams come true.
but thats not the most important thing you can do -
the best thing to do would to try and make her feel special..all girls love to feel special. treat her, surprise her and just make her see how much you love her.
and dont forget how powerful words can be as well, if you tell her one thing you feel about her which is really deep and meaningful she will remember that long after shes forgotten you bought her flowers. good luck =]
