I'm a 21 year old female and I'm depressed, I was born with a rare craniofacial disease called cruzouns syndrome, I excel at most things in life work, friends etc, but when it comes to relationships I feel inadequate, I've never had a bf (because I don't wish to get hurt)... This has lead me to being miserable, I snap at everyone, I'm really not bothered with anything, I don't care about myself or my image, I want to love but I'm scared. What should I do???

Try and get yourself involved with everything, one step at a time. For example, go to a cafe and try and talk to some new people etc. Or get a bit flirty with a guy you like. It all takes time but it's worth it in the end.
Having depression or a condition which affects your life can be very hard for anyone! So if you ever need to chat, just drop me an e-mail. I'm always here to talk if you need me.

Get out there and get involved in everything you excel at, join clubs and groups and make as many friends as you can!
You may not believe me but, us guys are not all shallow idiots and if you are an intelligent girl that is caring and can have a good time then I'm sure one day you will meet a nice guy who will love you for who you are.
P.S I hate Disney films so I'm not trying to be cheesey about this! I understand that you will have a tough time but please don't give up!
