I just want to know what is so wrong with me and why guys don't like me. People say I am pretty and nice and sweet and I think I am too. Is it because I have glasses and braces? Even though I am still pretty. I know I am only in high school it is not fair why all the other girls have guys that like them and I don't it isn't fair at all... and I do but I don't want a relationship but I am just scared I won't be able to say no and I just want to know that guys actually like me it makes me sad and angry. I always here the same thing over and over again...they say they will start liking you or they are just stupid and I want real answers and I want to know if guys like me....I just don't know what it feels like for a guy to like me because no guy has ever told me he liked me or had a crush on me.

You just said that you don't have guys that like you, but that actually you do. You're contradicting yourself, yet at the same time answering your own question... And it doesn't "feel" like anything in particular if a guy likes you, unless you like him too.

If a guy you like asks you out but you don't feel anything for him, you say no. Sure it sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do. If a guy asks you out and you do feel something, aka you actually like him, then what's wrong with saying yes? It doesn't have to mean you're going to marry the guy.

Also, you may be surprised at who may like you, yet you don't know. If a guy is shy or afraid of being rejected, he may never speak of or act upon his crush for you. I honestly never believed that there were shy guys who liked me yet never said anything, until it actually happened to me... I had guys that liked me but were always too afraid to say anything, and then one day a couple years later they randomly were talking to me and told me that they had liked me but were too afraid to say anything.

I also had to deal with braces and glasses on top of a bad haircut. I let my hair grow, got contact lenses, and eventually the braces came off. I never had a date for a school dance. I didn't have my first boyfriend and first kiss until I was a senior in high school.

Now I know that no one ever wants to hear "don't worry about it in high school because it doesn't matter anyways," even though it is completely true. Just wait until you get to college....you'll end up with more guys that like you than you know what to do with. Until then, consider yourself lucky if you don't have to deal with it, and focus on getting into college in the first place.

Don't worry, you're still young! Someone will come along and will like you for you!!

Don't fret over things that you still have much time to worry or concentrate on.. In the meantime have fun being the age you are, and enjoy your time in school! Enjoy your friends. Once you stop looking for someone to love, you will find them! or they will find you! Guys mature less fast than girls in many ways too so keep that in mind, they just don't know what they have in front of them! My guy is three years older than me...you never know!!
