I asked my doctor if i'll gain weight being on it and he said he can't guarantee i won't, or will. But i really, really don't want to I hate my weight already and am trying to lose weight so I don't want to take it if that's the case.So i'm thinking, if I stick to my diet by eating properly no binge eating just sensible three healthy meals a day and no snacks and continue working out everyday. Will this prevent me from putting weight on? Or is it inevitable, that even me working out and eating properly won't prevent me gaining any weight? Also, many of my friends took yasmin (the name of the pill) the same i'm on and said their breasts grew being on it? Is that just a myth, or do people actually experience this... my theory was that they just gained weight so their breasts got bigger. I know two girls who didn't gain weight just bigger breasts, but that was a question i felt was stupid to ask my doctor! It just seems everyone i know has put on a noticeable weight since being on the pill and i'm worried i will too....So any advice on the weight gain and getting bigger would be amazing help please!!

I've been on many pills for many years and never gained any weight. I also used Yasmin years ago, never had my boobs grow, unfortunately. I think you will be fine especially if you plan to keep your weight in check and a diet. If you find you are gaining weight and arent comfortable with it then speak with your doctor to try a new pill or new method of birth control that works for you.
