I want to give this guy my number but I'm afraid in case I misunderstand his signs

Question - (25 February 2012) 1 Answers - (Newest, 26 February 2012)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

There's a boy i am interested in who works at the shop at the end of my road. He always makes conversation and i always catch his eye and he'll smile. I always get butterflies when i walk into the shop with the excitement that he might be in there but sometimes i get nervous and will go wherever he is not.

He is a few years older than me but there's a part of me that believes he may be the tiniest bit interested in me. what could i do about it?

I want to give him my number but i'm very shy and would find it embarrassing especially if i have misunderstood the signs, so what else could i do?

I don't think you should give him your number. You could chat more, get a conversation going, ask where he goes when he's not at work maybe,or tell him where you will be, show an interest in what he does away from work.

If he's single and knows you are, and that your interested...he SHOULD ask for your number.
