I want to get married without all the legalities. How do I do this?

i love my boyfriend very much and we were thinking about marraige but we want an unofficial wedding that doesn't entail all the legal views. just in case anything ever happens we don't want the hassle of divorce. Does anyone know of any way we can do this?

well, you can always have a friend or family member (someone who is not a justice of the preist) "marry you" and you can both exchange rings. if you wanted, you can even make up a faux marriage certificate. going as far as paying to get married will make it legally binding therefore having to file for divorce afterwards. the only thing with not being legally married is that you can't legally take his last name
