A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I love my male friend and we had a french kiss the other night. I want to tell him how feel but I am scared that he will turn me down and that our frienship would be weird. I actually want to date him. I keep on getting mixed signals from him. I don't know if I should tell him or if I should wait for him.

god ive been in this situation for months..

i finally told my friend how i felt and he apparently fancied me too "in the past" but has been sending me mixed signals ever since.. it's really confusing when you fall for a best friend because you wonder "will i lose them as a friend if they dnt fancy me back?".. dont worry..I think if you consider someone a really close friend then even if they dont fancy you back then it won't matter..they will still be your best friend :)

i would arrange to meet him for lunch and explain to him how you have been feeling, and see how he responds..if he likes you back then thats BRILL! but if he just wants to remain friends then value that..you will always* have him as an amazing friend.. and someday you will have an amazing friend AND a boyfriend too =)
