I'll echo the advice to go slowly, but think it is perfectly fine to date coworkers as long as there is no company policy against it. I met my ex-wife through work, and that relationship lasted for 10 years (though I quit and found a new job when things got serious). Since becoming single again, I have pursued two different female coworkers. Neither relationship has gotten to the point of being serious, but things aren't awkward around the office either. I believe that the key to keeping things from going wrong is to take is s-l-o-w.

as long as sex isnt right away........it shoodnt be awkward. My first work relastionship went well. No sex until we knew we were ready. Another work relationship i had went horribly wrong and i still work with him and i hate those days. It totally sucks. Just be real careful. Men can be pigs even if they dont seem like it... :(
