writes:Hi there I am wanting to break up with my girlfriend but there is a catch her birthday is a week tomorrow. Part of me feels i should wait till afterwards but another part asks how long after. She's going to know that you're unhappy and want out. It's going to hurt like a blighter, but the best thing to do is to get it over. It might seem mean, but in the long run it's meaner to wait.

 I would tell her because u don't want to lead a person on its not good if u get her somthing then break it off with her she's going to feel more hurt I got done like that my ex broke up with me 3 weeks before christmas but I brought him a gift and didn't receive anything we were supposed to exchange them but as time went by I got over it before christmas so don't lead her on tell her cause u would want someone to tell u.

 Definately leave it til after her birthday otherwise she'll be spending the day moping around being miserable and I'm sure you don't want that. As the previous poster said, do it when the time feels right. It might not seems like it now but when that time comes, you'll know.
