I want to be able to fall asleep with my boyfriend but we cant get comfortable! Our flats always stuffy and in bed its even worse, so if were cuddled up we are literally dying from overheating, and also i fidget a lot when im trying to get to sleep. So we cant cuddle each other and fall asleep that way, we end up sleeping with our backs to each other as though we were strangers cos thats the only way we are comfy.Has anyone got any tips? I'm jealous. My house is always cold. I hate it.
Your neighbours below you must have the heating on all the time. At least your bills are going to be low in winter.
Fans are your best bet then, or get one of those freezer blocks and wrap it in a towel and use it as a cold water bottle.
Or get a hot water bottle and fill it with cold water.
Go camping?
Good Luck!! xx

Your problem is that you live in Britain which is experiencing a heat wave at the moment.
So your options are:
Move to the North of Scotland / Russia
or
Accept that you'll just have to toss and turn during hot humid weather (that's what the rest of us are doing) but come autumn you'll be cuddling up close to keep warm.
We only get 2 months of warm weather in this country so stop being so English and moaning.
Drink some Pimms and know it will be winter again next week.
Good Luck!! xx

I suppose you could try practical things like keeping the windows open, buying a fan and keeping it on, getting a bigger bed if yours is too small... Things like that.
However, I don't think there is anything wrong with sleeping seperately when you are in a relationship. The way I see it is that it is just sleep. And if you don't get much sleep, it can make you really irritable, which isn't great for a relationship! So if there is the possibility of sleeping apart, then I wouldn't feel bad about trying it.
But if you have to sleep together, then some of the above suggestions might help, I hope. It is difficult though, especially if you are a light sleeper. I hope you are able to find a solution. x
