Anyway, my question is, during dinner she mentioned that she and her boyfriend had broken up and from what i gathered she seemed to be over it and i was thinking about asking her out but there are a few problems, 1) we have finals coming up in about 3 weeks so spending time together will be much harder, and 2) we live in different cities (i live in Toronto and she lives in Oakville). what should i do?any help is greatly appreciated

In my opinion you should go for it unless Toronto and Oakville are not too far from each other. From my experience distance could be a problem.
Good luck and let us know with the results.

What could you lose? If it doesn't work at least you will know you've tried.
