My idea is going to a restaurant and just talking, but that sounds a bit boring. If anyone has advice for a first date, please voice your opinion. While giving advice, please keep in mind that I live in a small town whose biggest attraction is a movie theatre. Reply to this Question Share |

Movies is not really a great "date" situation for a first date as you kind of sit in the dark and don't really interact a whole lot.
If you live in a state with decent weather, you could arrange a picnic. Bring a blanket/food & drinks and just eat and talk. You won't have a waiter/waitress come interrupt your conversations that way.
If she likes put-put or bowling that is an option. Even if you suck at it you two can have fun.
Or laser tag/go karts (if you have that in or near your town) Paint balls hurt lol so I wouldn't go there.
Does she have any interests that you know of, that you two can do? Like if you do the picnic and you know she likes soccer bring a ball to the park. Same with baseball/glove..
Make it fun (try not to focus on being romantic as much as fun date).
