A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

There's this girl that I love and she love me but she doesn't tell me and she put more into this other chap when I chased her and decided to be with him.I know she loves me because everytime I have better days with another girl and am happy again she shows up and strings me back in. She's doing it again but I don't mind because I'm caught up with another girl who's sweeeter than sweeter. Should I let the old girl know about my sweeter than sweet or just do nc? I want her to get over me.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (26 November 2010):

I don't think she does love you. This is another case of a person who just doesn't want you to move on. It's very simple really. You tell her that you're with another girl, and that you're over her and don't' want any more contact. It's not about her getting over you. It's about whether you've got over her and are strong enough to show it. Tell her you've moved on and that's it.
