writes: hey girls, this is a question for you. i'm not much of a book worm so i don't know where to look but i'm looking for a book, not one in particular, but a romantic erotic love story that involves the man being in the military. my guy used to be in the army in the artillary, and the thought of him firing machine guns and being dressed up in camo and face paint and ammunition and dog tags dangling on my back as he makes love to me really turns me on, and i want to read a book that involves that kinda thing. i could almost write one myself but i want to read someone elses erotic tales before i go making my own. any suggestions? p.s i want something hot n spicy and action packed, like "natural born killers" style if you've ever seen that movie... and if you havn't i recommend you watch it! cheers

reader, anonymous, writes (15 May 2009): "From Here To Eternity" by James Jones, (movie, 1953, with Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra, Montgomery Clift, Donna Reed...many others). A classic. It is an oldie (WWII) at the time of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. But, you might like it. There are some from every war, but I can't think of them all off the top of my head. "The Bridges at Toko Ri", by James Michener is a good one from the Korean War. Also, "Sayonara", from the Korean War, also by Michener. Movies made from all of these, as well.

I don't read that kind of book but you could try searching for free fiction on the internet.
Also, just be careful that you don't make your poor guy feel inadequate as he USED to be in the army and he could easily feel like he USED to be sexy to you.
