I'm not necessarily good at talking to girls at first and I am always kind of pushed into talking to a girl. I can't even start a decent conversation without thinking that I need to make up something so she will think more of me than just a regular guy. Someone please help!!

Believe me - being that regular guy is a lot more important than being that guy you date for a couple of months, finish with and never speak to again.Keep being friends, keep enjoy BEING friends and you will get used to talking with, and being around girls. This will make you less nervous and once you start to relax then girls won't feel nervous around you so much.And don't try to sound more interesting than you are - if you lie you will have to keep lying until you get caught out and then it isn't just that one girl, but everyone, who will distrust you. If you think you are boring, try to find your unique selling point, and work on making that your 'quirk'. It might be rpg, it could be drag racing, it might even be 'hunting shooting fishing', I don't know but something about you makes you YOU! It might not be for everyone but if you almost market yourself and your 'USP' then you will at least attract girl/friends you have something in common with rather than trying to mould yourself to expectations set by society as a whole but that you may not identify with.I KNOW it is ghastly being a teenager, in a LOT of ways; don't make it worse by being untrue to who you are for the sake of having a relationship based on lies.

Your entire being is telling you that :) It's normal to want a relationship at this age, but it's another thing entirely to be ready or not. Just try to work on your conversational skills but don't go into it trying to get a crush or girlfriend :)
