Hiya!

I am mum to a gorgeous little girl, who is due to turn 5 on Tuesday. The problem is, ever since she was two, I have been broody. And it has been getting worse and worse, to the point where it actually hurts sometimes.

I am not in the right position to have another baby. I am not in a relationship, I do not have a steady income etc etc.

Is there anything I can do to stop this pain?

you could offer to babysit peoples kids and make some money doing that, while also making your body realise you have enough kids (one) for now? and it might ease the overwhelming desire to have a child, its the best suggestion I can think of.... hope this helps

supermum agony auntUmmm @TheOldMan, I am on birth control. And more than that, I am on the implant, which means I am on birth control that I cannot accidently on purpose forget to take, and lasts for three years.

Thanks for the ASSumptions though...

Perhaps next time you could offer some proper advice instead of repeating what I say. It would be more than easy for me to get pregnant, I was asking for advice to stop being broody. That should make it clear I am not planning another pregnancy.

@Thisiscrazyy thanks hun, I will have a chat with the doctor. I know they normally put people on the pill for this sort of thing, which would interact negatively with my implant, but it may be worth asking if there is anything else that can be done. x

Thisiscrazy agony auntHun go to your dr and talk to them I'm sure there would be something to reduce the broody feelings. You know yourself your not in the position for another child concentrate on your beautiful little girl and know if you do decide to have another it's not just you it affects it will affect you all.
