The way to get a six pack if you are already slim isn't to bulk up with carbohydrates, it is to reduce your carbs to an average amount, decrease your fat to an absolute minimum and to consume a high amount of protein.
In health stores you can find protein powder, make sure you buy one that doesn't have any sweeteners added. The amount of protein in these shakes is far higher than you can derive from eating food - plus it doesn't have any fat with it whereas much food that contains protein does.
This in combination with a cardiovascular and muscle resistance workout regularly will develop muscles on your stomach quickly. The biggest problem for people wanting a 6-pack isn't a lack of defined muscles but rather the thickness of fat under the skin that hides the muscle. Muscle tissue is quick and easy to develop, it is fat that takes longer to burn off and keep off.

http://www.nestle.com.au/Nutrition/SportsNutrition/Winning/EverydayNutrition/Carbohydrate.htm
I do a lot of road cycling and some mountain biking and know how difficult it is to gain weight due to my genetics. However, as well as eating heavy carbs, I also drank one or two servings of Meal Replacements a day. I got a pack of 12 generic brand MR's at Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada) for $17 which costed me roughly $45 per month for me.
Another way to gain weight is get some carbohydrate shakes for weight trainers. I don't remember the name of the ones I used, but 1 month worth of powder can cost from $50 to $100. You'll mix it with milk and fruits.
Mind you all this does add up, and when you reach a more ideal weight, to maintain is hard for people whom are naturally thinner than the norm.

by what youve said im guessing your quite thin? im about 5ft 7 and weigh just over 10 stone, i dont have a pack you could grate cheese on, but im very happy with my body, not too much, not too little, catch my drift? one of my friends who does kick boxing is quite tall and thin, hes drinking protien drinks and weight gain drinks, then does exersises, ive seen alot of the time people who want a 6 pack just stop eating, but all that does is make you look underweight and get a unattractive body. i would suggest (if i was you) was to bulk up a bit, then do stomach exersies along with things such as running (so you can turn that bulk into muscle!) when i say bulk up i dont mean eat burgers and chocolate, if you really want to do it properly do some reserch on protein and weight gain drinks, make sure they are balanced so are good for your body, you should be able to find everything you need on the internet, then go to the gym (or could do sit ups/press ups at home, and do running or play sport) but look up on what exersies you need to do for what you want. Your at the start of a long hard road, will you keep at it? :P

You want to stay fit and look good and tone up your body to look hotter than a modern Hercules? Well, it takes time and tons of effort and a good routine. There is no such thing as "Gain a 6 pack in 30 days!" If you want more info, try MensHealth.com and click on Fitness at the top menu.
Not only do you have to exercise right, but you have to eat right, and you have to have the right mentality for it. UNLESS you are willing to fork over your life's savings to get it done through artificial means.
