 Have to agree with my good friend Mandy here, you don't to talk to him so what other options are open to you, perhaps a text or email asking for a suitable time to go and get your stuff and yes as Mandy suggested either ask him to bag it up but if he is going to be cruel may be he might not care when he bags up your belongings.
The other option is to ask a friend to go and collect it for you but you won't know if she has everything unless you are truly there yourself.
It is once and only once that you have to have this last contact with him and then you can move forward with your life, the longer you leave it the worse it will get.
Bite the bullet and make contact one way or another OK.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 March 2008): Then how do you plan on getting your stuff??? You must at least make arrangements to talk to him to get your stuff. If you feel it may be a problem, then call the police and ask them to go with you, but you must be able to get all of your stuff within a 20 or 30 minute window. If not, then go to court and get a court order, but they too are going to tell you to talk to him and make arrangements first, before they get involved. Good luck to you.

Phone him and arrange a time that is suitable ask him if its poss he could bag it all up to save you hanging around and go get it...JOB DONE!
