I used to like one girl now I've developed a crush on her friend

Question - (23 December 2012) 2 Answers - (Newest, 28 December 2012)
A male Colombia age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I used to like a girl quite a lot, so I asked her best friend to tell me what the first girl thought about me.

However, after a few months now I find myself falling for the second girl. I already told her that I don't like the first girl anymore, but I'm not sure how to proceed.

Sometimes I think she likes me, but sometimes I think she sees me as just another friend. I'm not sure what should I do. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help, I've been pondering on what's the best way to ask her out, I think I'll just do it. However, I still have one doubt in my mind: will the fact that I liked her friend affect the possibility of a relationship with her?
