Then last week I went to a party and saw another girl I knew for ages; since primary school, but hardly ever talked to. I know what her name is and she knows mine. As the night went on we were all having a laugh (and no we wasn't drunk) and suddenly all my feelings went from the person I really liked to the girl I hardly ever talked to. Now ever since that night I can't stop thinking of her. Why has this happened?

There's nothing wrong with that, as long as you tell anyone you date, the truth. In fact, do you really want a girlfriend now or do you just want to flirt around a bit?
If you want to continue to go with your first gf, say that you like flirting with others but you don't want to hurt her. Then it's up to her to decide whether or not she wants to be your girlfriend. Maybe she likes to flirt, too. Would that bother you? If you are in your teens, this is the age you should be exploring life, having fun and making new friends-just so long as you are honest and not hurting others. Like QueenB75 said, don't play mindgames-that plain cruel and very immature! Best of luck...take care

It's normal to like more than one person, but don't lead anyone on and don't play any games. You need to be honest with yourself and decide who you want because the last thing you need is someone ending up hurt.
