I went on this out of school trip with him and he was really flirting around me and my mates and ok, hes cute, but he's a friend, i'd never go out with him but you gotta undestand there's this certain thrill about knowing someone fancies you right? Even if you don't fancy them back so i suPpose i was quite pleased when he texted me saying "I really miss being with everyone, especially you tho luv james x x x"So ofcourse, i texted all my friends and in my giddiness i also texted Jame's best friend who's having a problem with James at the mo (they both love the same girl) and the boy i texted was really worried about going out with this girl who they both have a crush for incase he upset James. But i texted him saying "feel free to ask out this girl cuz James fancies me now!" Which i realise now i REALLY shouldn't have done cuz perhaps James doesn't actually fancy me as loads of friends add X's on texts and stuff. But i haven't texted or talked to either of them for nearly two weeks cuz i just feel like a total immature idiot .I really don't KnoW what to do cuz i've really i've made my own bed. How can i sort this out?!

You go girl stay away from the dating scene as long as you can. It only leads to broken hearts, crushed dreams, and guilt until your old enough to go to the next level (marriage). If you haven't noticed on here already!
Yet this problem is simple. You made a mistake, and as simple as it is hard, people deserve an apology. Something as simple as 'I am sorry but I think I might have misinterpreted the text MSG I received' should work. This needs to go to every person you text-ed or talked to about it.
This repairs any damage and should set things straight.

well you ARE in a bit of a tricky situation there!
First off, talk to both of them. See what's going on. If James' mate is going out with this girl he likes and James is heat-broken you can do one of two things-
1) apologise and tell him what happened
2) decide whether you like him as more than a friend and go out with him. James could be worth it. You'll never know until you take a risk. And you only live once (unless of course you're a cat but then you probably couldn't have typed anything out or ...) I'm going off track a bit here!!
James COULD actually fancie you as he put, " I really miss being with everyone, especially you tho LUV james " He said he misses being with you and put LUV James! Do you want it any more clear? I'd ask James out! Go for it, he could actually turn out to be the guy of your Dreams ...
