I would like to find another assignment however, this is not hiring season for my profession(teacher). Here is my dilemma: I was offered a job a month ago and turned it down. BIG MISTAKE! How do I ask the company to reconsider me for employment? Reply to this Question Share |

What I would do(not that it would work) I'd write a letter requesting they reconsider you now that your prior issues are resolved.

You turned it down and they needed someone a month ago, they would've offered it to someone else and it's likely gone.Just learn from this, take more care to consider your future choices and you'll just have to apply for whatever you can in the meantime to get away from where you are. I wouldn't recommend contacting a potential emoyer whose offer you turned down, you'll possible be seen as a bit of a time waster - you'll just have to hope they advertise again in the future and you can re-apply if you don't get anywhere else before then.
