I tried comfortin him after his sister's death but he says I made it worse! Now we're living apart - please help!

my boyfriends sister died 2 months ago although i was there for him thru everything he says i made things worse a few weeks ago he started drinking two nights the weekend and just leaving me at home coming in at all hours im 7 months pregnant and we are now living apart he says he has his own problems and is just pushing me our baby and our five year old daughter away i just dont know what to do.

TasteofIndia agony auntHow sad. Your boyfriend is really sufferng. Losing a sister can be so hard. He's probably not only pushing you away but most of the important people in his life. He really should seek some professional help... just have him talk to a therapist.

It's quite common for people to take grief badly, turn to drinking and pushing away the people they love.

A psychologist will be able to help him. If he doesn't want to go, maybe you could go and talk to one about what's going on with your boyfriend.
