writes:i bought some morning afterpills after having unprotected sex last night with my husband. i took both pills immediately without reading the instructions, which after i read i saw i had to take one then the other one after 12 hrs from the first one. i just wantd to find out if its ok, and if the pills will work. i took pregnon which contains levonorgestrel BP 0.75mg.looking forward to your help

I have looked up this drug in my big book of drugs (BNF)and from what I can tell is it might not be 100% so you need to see a doctor NOW! Go to and Emergency Department and tell them what you have done and I mean as SOON as you have read this message, there is no time to wait about!
(Please trust me on this one I am a qualified medic not some teenager giving crap advise)

They suggest that taking both at the same time is just as affective as 12 hours apart - in england they give you thm an tell you to take them together or give you 1 bigger pill, so i think you'll be ok - if you'r still unsure, have a word with your doctor!
