A female Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I have been with my partner for 3 and a half years.

I have been talking with one of our friends a lot. we told each other we have feeling for each other through a message, his girlfriend read the messages.

now i cant eat or sleep stressing about my partner finding out. i would never do anything to hurt him but i feel like i have cheated.

It's the worst feeling. He would flip out if he found out and im so scared of what he would do. He cant find out! but i cant deal with the guilt of hiding this from him.

A reader, anonymous, writes (19 February 2012):

You did cheat. You took the time to start up more than a friendship with another Man. To the point you developed emotional feelings of trust with him to the point you both felt it reasonable to declare crush feelings for one another. Thats cheating for sure.

I say time to confess to BF. You will learn to live honestly if you can account for your actions and ask for forgiveness and THEN, ensure you never cheat on your BF or future BFs by not committing such things in the future.

Good Luck!
