Its a very dark pink/red colour, as far as i'm aware it has always been that colour, it doesn't hurt, I haven't slept with anyone in years and I always use protection. Is it normal? When I've seen other girls vagina's they are normally a light pink or the same colour as their skin tone. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

 I'm assuming you are referring to your external genitalia as your vagina since you see your vulva (the part that's outside) and maybe the labia but to see the actually vagina would take a speculum a mirror and a flashlight... as it's the INTERNAL part of you.
everyone comes in all shapes sizes and colors.
women who are a bit overweight might have a deeper color due to pressure on the veins.
and women that are pregnant or have had children are darker... including the upper inner thighs...
comparing your skin color to someone else is just like comparing eyes and hair.... everyone is different.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 February 2012): Any worries you have about your body should be discussed with your doctor OP. Just to put your mind completely at ease. We don't know if your vagina is normal.
I will say however that they come in all shapes, sizes, colours etc. I have no doubt seen far more up close than you and to me it sounds perfectly fine but you should get checked anyway to be sure.

 What other girl's vulvas have you seen? Outside of porn most women's vulvas aren't light pink or skin color, there is no color "most" women's vulvas are. They come in all colors from brown to purple-ish to dark pink to reddish to light pink to skin color. As long as it's not green or some other not normal human color and hasn't changed color suddenly, you're normal! It's also normal for your labia to different sizes or for the inner labia to be larger or smaller than the outer. Don't worry about it!
