First off I applaud you for being true to yourself because that is the hardest part. Let her know that you still want to be part of her life but you had to tell her this to avoid leading her on.
Know matter when you told her it was going to be tough and time will be the best thing for her. Just stay with her and allow her to ask you the questions she needs for closure.
