I told my friend I like him, but she kissed him in front of me! She's seeing two other guys, too. I'm so confused about what to do!

I have what I think is a major problem. You see we hang out in a group of about six people me and my best friend Rachel are the only girls and I've been friends with one of the guys (Justin) for about 2 years now but we all started hanging out together about 3 months ago. Anyway I've recently started thinking about Justin and not as a friend but more..I havent told anyone not even Rachel. Anyway Rachel likes Justin and the other night she kissed him infront of all of us and I was hurt and jeleous but tried not to make it obvious. That night when we all left and went home Justin called me and asked if I was okay and was being really nice (usually we are at each others throats). So we've been talking on the phone a couple of hours each night about everything and im getting really hooked on him. Last night we had a fight about me giving him attitude or something and he just hugged me really tight out of nowhere and then acted normal and left...I feel bad because Rachel likes him but she is seeing another two guys but I feel like I cant say anything to Justin until Rachel figures out who she wants...please help me im so confused!

Reebe agony auntOh dear, I don't think your friend would be too upset if you and this guy were to become more than friends. You 2 seem to like each other. Although your friends pride maybe dented!

Just keep talking to this guy and being his friend, spend some time with him and see where it goes. Your friend has a few options so don't be too worried.

Good Luck and have fun!

No girl, as far as this goes, he is free property. yes, R may like him, but thats tough. Shes seeing another two people. She cannot expect everyone to sit back and wait for her to decide, lifes too short. Youre a good friend for thinking of her, but really, its between you and J. He seems to fancy you cos he called you to see if you were ok. He obviously cared, and noticed you were hurt by the events of that night. However, first get the facts straight. When you know for sure hes interested in a relationship, then explain it to your friend, and she will just have to deal with it. its not like this guy is an ex of hers, and in that case ex bfriends are no-go areas for friends.

Hes a mutual friend, and you have every right to get involved with him. so ease the stress by figuring out if hes interested (truley) first.

Also though, theres a chance he may just care for you as a friend, and actually fancy R. If this is so, then unfortunately, this is something you will just have to deal with, cos you cant stop them either.

Moral of the story - in future, if you start fancying someone you and your best friend hang around with, tell her - so she knows not to go there!

take care, good luck

xx
