A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I have a friend in year 11 (I'm a year 9) who I really like, he has helped me through rough times. We talk regularly online and say hello to each other whenever we see each other around school. Over time, I have really fallen for him. He said things too that made me think he liked me. Our recent conversation I asked if he could read anybody's mind in the world who's would it be. He said mine, so he could know what I thought of people. I thought this meant him so I asked if he wanted the truth. I told him I wanted to read his thoughts to see what he thought of me because it feels like no one else's judgment matters but his recently and that I really liked him. He was so nice about it and said I am stunning and one day I will have guys at my mercy. I really want him! I said sorry, he said it's ok we'll still talk. But now I feel embarrassed, does he think I'm a foolish kid with a crush? What do I do/ say to him on Monday? What do I do if his friends mention it? WORRYING!

Don't act like anything and don't do or say anything special! There is no reason that things should be weird between two people just because one feels differently aout the other. Don't over think it.. in fact, don't think about it at all. He is still the same person, as are you. So talk and laugh jsut as you always have and don't ever say another word about it. He's already told you that it's ok and that you can still talk. There is nothing left to be said. Act like you always have.

sammi star agony auntHe sounds like a really sweet guy and I don't think he'll go telling all his friends about this. He was really nice in saying that he doesn't mind and that you can still talk so it's really unlikely he thinks of you as a silly little girl. He obviously values your friendship a great deal, he just doesn't think of you like that. Maybe it's because he thinks he's too old for you? Work at getting out there and meeting new guys, and keep this one for the great friend he is. Good luck hun x
